Character Sheet
Sage is the embodiment of Lancaster, the Susquehanna River, and the community as a whole, when they are not working hard as a park ranger protecting the natural beauty of the Susquehanna Valley, they can be seen working in their backyard, tending to their extensive garden or dealing with the bees they keep around for their brewing attempts.
You can also see them out in the various waterways kayaking or swimming, or back at home watching anime, experimenting with new food recipes, or muzzle deep in a really good book.
They are fiercely loyal to their friends and the environment, and they will go out of their way to be the energy of a party if they notice people around them looking bored.
They use they/them pronouns and dress in whatever they feel like.
Our mascot was designed by the community at the end of March 2026 through a series of Telegram polls. We narrowed choices down by family and species before landing on three finalists: River Otter, Striped Skunk, and Honey Badger. The River Otter won with 23 votes (the other two tied at 12 votes each).
After the species was locked in, community members brainstormed what their character should look like and ironed out the main details before hiring an artist.
